Undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma

Hello,

I have just found out the annoying lump in my leg is a cancerous tumour. It was a complete shock and this week has been a whirlwind of scans MRI, CT scans and doctors appointments. I feel strange and a little bit scared but refuse to read anything on Google. I am just in Limbo now waiting for the outcome. One minute I'm positive it's not spread so minimal treatment the next it's spread and it's going to impact not only me but everyone around me, osntjs9 normal?

  • Hello Porrk,

I can understand that the diagnosis would be a shock and that it can be confusing at times. When you’re worried that you may have cancer, it can be tempting to look for answers on online, but this can end up increasing anxiety rather than making you feel better. So it's good that you're staying away from Google. Further tests for Soft Tissue Sarcoma are usually needed in order to investigate, but don't be afraid to ask questions or raise any concerns so you can understand the process and get the most out of future appointments.

    I hope that helps,
