Hi everyone. I'm new to all this. I was diagnosed with 3 primary cancerous lesions, kidney, prostate and Lung. As I have had major stomach surgery in the past, the scar tissue as caused complications in being able to have robotic keyhole surgery to remove the lesions. In October I had open surgery to remove the cancerous section of my kidney. This resulted in me getting Sepsis and having a 4 week stay in hospital. I have now just been told, the only course of action left to treat my prostate cancer, is again, surgery. But again with my previous surgery's, do to the scar tissue it will have to be open surgery. I am obviously petrified at the thought of more surgery, especially as I got Sepsis last time. To make matters worse, my Mum died of Sepsis at 57, during surgery in 2006. I'm 59.
