Living with CLl

I was diagnosed with CLL in 2012 aged 51.Was on watch and wait for 3yrs,then started treatment. I had 3 different types of treatment all of which eventually failed .In 2020 during covid it was put to me to have CAR-T treatment .Again it was a trial I accepted. Had my transplant in 2021 and have been told I'm remission. Although I'd still be prone to infection.I have good days and bad days to be honest.Im back at work now .

  • Hello Steviebhoy

And welcome to the forum. It's great to hear that you're doing so well after all that you've been through over the past 10+ years.

It's understandable that you have good and bad days. I'm sure that it has been a real rollercoaster of emotions at times but I wanted to thank you for sharing your positive story. Hopefully, it will help others in the future who find themselves with the same diagnosis.

I hope that things continue to progress smoothly for you and that the good days outweigh the bad.

    Best wishes,
