Hi,my name is Aisha. I have just recently been diagnosed with Gestational Trophoblastic Disease, a rare cancer from a molar pregnancy. This was my fourth pregnancy but my 3rd miscarriage. After a d and c at the end of January,my HCG levels kept rising. Within a matter of 15-20 hours,I was told I may have cancer and would need to go to a different city for tests and treatment. I got to the specialist hospital on Tuesday where I was tested and it was confirmed I had cancer. I started chemo the same evening. After a week in hospital I was allowed home to continue chemo at a local hospital. I still can't comprehend having cancer instead of a healthy pregnancy.
