  • Hi NatJ,

Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of the situation with your mum - I hope you are getting on OK, I'm sure this must be incredibly tough and it's good to hear you have some close family around you.

A couple of resources are Macmillan - for general information, support and a helpline - and Maggie's, who have local centres for support groups. I'm not sure if there is a centre near you, but it would be worth having a look.

There is a Scotland-based charity for cancer support, called Clan, which may be of some help.

And here are is a page specifically about support for lung cancer, which has helpline information as well as links to further support options.

I hope that some of this can be of some use.

I also noticed you posted a similar post elsewhere - we have unpublished that one and kept this one, so hopefully you'll get some more replies to your post here, and I hope that this forum can be helpful for you too, in terms of connecting with others. You can browse or search the forum (using the bar at the top of the page) to find other relevant discussions, if you would like to.

    Wishing you all the best,

    Ben
