Hello 

i just want to say that i had no symptoms of bowel cancer. And only did the check when it came through the post because of my age for screening. Such a shock to myself to find i had a restricted bowel cancer. Was told that removing it and part of my bowel would be all that was needed. Unfortunately I had to have chemotherapy after surgery IV and tablets. I was so ill that the chemo was stopped. But then picked up again with the tablets. The side effects are awful. I finished my chemo in November 22.  l struggled to continue working full time in my job of 20 years. Eventually lost my job. 
I’ve looked at all the bowel symptoms for cancer and I didn’t have any of them. But I did have reflux which is not a condition. Since having the restricted bowel cancer removed I haven’t suffered from reflux. Could this be another symptom for consideration?
