Hi I am in remission from cancer of oesophagus. I just find it hard yo do anything get exhausted very easily
Welcome to our forum, harley1340.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing exhaustion despite being in remission from oesophageal cancer. Fatigue is a common side effect of cancer and its treatments, and it can persist even after treatment has ended.
It's important to listen to your body and prioritise self-care during this time. Make sure to get plenty of rest, eat a healthy diet, and stay hydrated. Gentle exercise, such as walking or yoga, can also help boost your energy levels. There's also a page from our website I wanted to share with you that has advice on coping with fatigue and I hope this will help a little.
Hopefully, others who have had similar experiences will come along shortly to offer some insight and advice. Alternatively, if you feel like asking some questions to our team of nurses, they'd be happy to chat with Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m on this freephone 0808 800 4040.
Wishing you all the best,
