Dods1961 - colonoscopy due on Friday. Hoping for the best, fearing the worst

I'm currently waiting on a colonoscopy which I'm due to have on Fri...I had positive FIT test ...I had no symptoms apart from loose stools and constipation..I developed a seriously sore pain in my right side and now I'm concerned that it's connected...I've list weight and I'm tired constantly..feel like I could sleep 24hrs a day..hoping for the best outcome but fearing the worst!!!!

    It's good to hear you don't have too much longer to wait for this. Try to keep busy today and focus on other things where possible - I know this can be easier said than done.

    Thank you so much for getting back to me Ben...I'm trying so hard to stay positive and keep repeating to myself polyp..polyp...polyp..hemorrhoids..hemorrhoids..hemorrhoids in the hope that that's all they find..its hard tho..sometimes I wish I'd never made that spur of the minute decision to do the routine FIT test but never mind...thanx again Ben
