Lymphoma

Hi - I am in Cornwall and was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma in April 2022. I have relapsed twice, had a stem cell transplant last summer, and am now on a newly licensed chemo drug - 12 cycles taking me upto August. Not feeling too bad at the moment - but every time I go through treatment and then remission, the relapse anxiety gets worse.

  • Hello MatthiabDewi and welcome to Cancer Chat.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation.

Dealing with relapses and ongoing treatments can be tough, it's understandable that the anxiety around relapse increases each time butI'm glad to hear you're currently feeling okay and receiving treatment with a new chemotherapy drug. Remember to take things one day at a time and prioritise self-care.

You're not alone in this, MatthiabDewi, and there are people here who understand what you're going through. Hopefully you'll get to chat with some of them soon.

Wishing you strength and the best possible outcomes in your continued treatment,

    Renata, Cancer Chat Moderator
