As Above, I have been referred for a colonoscopy and have my triage telephone appointment next Tuesday.

While Logically I know that the odds (despite a high ish Fitt number) are very much in favour of this not being cancer but logic and emotion seldom marry up. I have to say despite other health issues (AF and mild heart failure) this has really knocked me as it came out of nowhere. I find myself constantly thinking about it and being at work is difficult as I find my thoughts being occupied by my issues not those of my patients.

Not much bothers me but I am honest enough with myself to admit that I am scared of the possibility of this being Cancer as I lost both my Aunt and Mum  to lung cancer in 2018 and 2019 respectively and nursed my Mum at home with hospice and district nurse support to the end.  In my head I just see me in their position
