I am so sorry to hear that you have been given the news that you have stage 4 colorectal cancer which has spread. How did your hospital meeting go? I hope you managed to bring up with them that the pain has been quite intense and that even the morphine doesn't always alleviate it. If you experience such intense pain again, make sure you bring it up with your medical team as you should not be suffering so much. 

I hope that you will hear from other members of our community who are currently on chemotherapy for stage 4 colorectal cancer and that they will be along shortly to share their experience with you. The meeting was very good and I have decided to go ahead with the chemotherapy. Just waiting to find out start date.
