Changes in cancer pathway

Hi I was diagnosed 6yrs ago with Polycythemia vera.I never knew about it as it’s very rare.

As a care giver and coping with my health issues going to hospital every three weeks,

it’s become My second home!

Things have developed over the past few months which are more life threatening. However my resolve is

to have a positive outlook and enjoy every moment I have.

My fath keeps me strong and I remember to tell all my family how much I love them.

i have a wonderful hope for the future, which helps me keep things in perspective.

No matter what the future holds Isiah 41 v 10

  • Hello LJane

I'm sorry to hear that over recent months your health has declined. Whilst it's naturally difficult to hear that news, it's good to know that you have such a positive outlook. Certainly having that approach can help when you're facing difficulties.

I hope that the hospital team can help get a handle on some of the health issues that you've been dealing with to ensure that you are comfortable and enjoying the best quality of life that you can.

If it would help to talk with one of our nurses at any point you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice and support they can.

Do keep in touch LJane and let us know how you get on.

    Best wishes,
