I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis at the end of last year, it's obviously been a difficult time for you. 

It sounds as if there's been some confusion about the information that's been shared with you about your diagnosis and understandably this can raise questions and cause anxiety.

Were you given details for a specialist nurse that you could contact when you were diagnosed? If so then I'd suggest getting in touch with them as they will be best placed to answer your questions and hopefully offer you some reassurance. Alternatively, you could ring and speak to the oncologist's secretary and let them know that you have some questions and could someone get back to you to clarify things.
