I'm sorry to hear that your most recent clinic appointment brought such difficult news. Undoubtedly this is a scary time that will have left you with many questions and some complicated feelings. 

I hope that you have a good support network of family and friends around you. Do lean on them in the coming days and weeks while you come to terms with the news you've been given.

Hi jcd I actually agree with your son ,I read a post on here a while ago it was from a lady in the same situation and she said that her Consultant had told her to think of it as living with a chronic illness and that's what she said she was doing ,I'm glad you are feeling slightly better you never know new information could become available so never give up .
