Hello Garnic and a warm welcome to our forum,
I can imagine it was a very stressful day for you being told you had a tumour on the left side of your bladder. It seems that you have not yet been told much about what to expect apart from needing to have it removed. I hope that you can talk to someone soon so that you can find out all the details regarding this tumour and what the treatment might be. It's completely normal to be anxious in a situation like this and you are bound to have lots of questions racing through your mind. Make sure you write these down so that you can ask your specialist at your next appointment and if there is anything you feel is unclear or you would like to discuss, our nurses have a free helpline you can ring on 0808 800 4040 - they are available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
There is useful information on our website on bladder cancer which I hope you will find useful but as you are still waiting to find out more about what to expect, it might be worth not trying to look things up online too much until you have a bit more clarity as to what is going on or it might make you more anxious. Waiting for answers can be difficult and there are helpful tips on this page to help you cope while waiting for important news.
We are keeping everything tightly crossed for you and hope that you will find out more details soon. Keep us updated if you get a moment.
Best wishes,
