I was suffering with ongoing pain for quite sometime around my right ribcage area , I was back and forward to doctor and they couldn’t find anything my situation worsened and I again went to doctor and he agreed at last to send me for an ultrasound two days later he called to say there was a mass showing on my liver and the radiologist wanted an MRI done which I was referred for . Things became so bad a more symptoms I called and he told me he would upscale this to urgent . Weeks went by and still nothing so I am in excruciating pain now going through to my back and all activity limited to just about zero. 

I have contacted MRI department 3-4 times and they have confirmed the referral has never been made as urgent I then called my GP and told this to him and his reply was they have probably downscaled it , I called MRI and they have confirmed downscaling is not allowed if a GP makes a referral as the GP knows the patients medical information. 
I just want some some answers and of course some relief from pain and discomfort and other symptoms.
