Hi Jane
so sorry you have had this diagnosis. I hope you are able to find strength and make a full recovery.
fron someone like myself who is concerned about having the same, what symptoms would you look out for that are red flags.
thank you in advance
Peter
Hello Peter,
I didn't have any of the usual symptoms, just a bit of indigestion, that's all.
But definitely worth going to your doctor if you are concerned about anything.
Good luck.
Jayne.
Hello Jayne,
not in but was some years back and on the same chemo regime. You are halfway through and it was at this stage when l found the going got tougher. Hopefully it will go easier for you since l am one of those with a real intolerance to drugs. The main thing is that it also beggared my unwelcome visitor so worth the effort. Take care and allow yourself an easy ride to see out your treatment,
David
Thank you for your reply David, I was finding a real intolerance to the infusion. So my consultant has suggested I up the dose on the tablets and not have the infusion. So we are trying that now.
Take care,
Jayne
I’m so sorry you are going through this I hope you get some relief and comfort and the all clear soon. Please may I ask did you do a FIT stool test at all and if so did you score high? I’ve recently tested wit a high positive and a bit worried
I have a 5cm colon tumour , the only symptoms i had and still have are mucus ( not all the time ) with a small bit of blood on them i don’t feel fatigued nor an i losing weight , my stools were a bit softer but nothing to cause alarm I thought, i had a negative fit test in July 2022 ,
i have a cat scan this week
I’m so sorry you’re going through this must of came as a shock
Thank you , Yes i am hoping it hasn’t spread, i feel ok , the scary thing is i could have easily put off going to the doctors with it as i feel ok , just a bit of mucus and a very small amount of blood , i had a fit score of 168
