Greetings

Hi, 55 years old and 4 days before Christmas last year was diagnosed with Thyroid/Neck Cancer. Then just to add to the 'list' they found a 'mass' that shouldn't be there on my right shoulder.

17th of Jan and had a total thyroid removal and the right lymph node removed.

2nd Feb MRI on shoulder so should find out soon whats happening there.

Apart from hospital parking charges, one thing that I have always been wondering , why do hospital gowns always do up from the back?

I was in a really dark place after the operation wondering what I had done to deserve this but have got better, thanks to.my Wife.

Really don't know how I would have managed without her.

Wishing everyone the very best.

  • Hi Marty just read your post. I hope all gies well with the scan. Like me you seem to see the humour in things, my fww recent hospital ststs have been something lije the carry on films. Rw the gowns, you would think by now they designed them more like a dressing gown. I am under 5ft tall and one i was given dragged on the floor.
