Living with advanced renal cancer

Hello, thank you for letting me join!

 I had my right kidney removed almost 8 years ago, since last year I have been living with advanced renal cancer.

Getting excellent treatment and support from my oncology and now radiology ( stereotactic radiotherapy), just started a course of 5 treatments on my back where there is a metastasis.

Coping OK with various side effects from the targeted cancer drug. However my thinning hair is a concern ( vain woman I know!)

Has anyone tried a treatment for thinning hair that they would recommend?

I do know that this is fairly trivial in the grand scheme of things, don’t get me wrong but I’m just asking!

    This is a topic that is posted about fairly regularly on the forum so please don't feel that it's a trivial thing to ask. 

    We do have some information on our website about coping with hair loss and thinning you may find interesting but I'd also suggest using the forum search function at the top of the page to look for the term "hair loss". I'm sure you'll find lots of posts where others have shared their experiences. 

    I hope that things continue to go well for you with your treatment and that you can find a solution to your concerns.
