Thank you, I am home now and looking forward to a meal, it was ok, just a bit different than I had before, my face was almost in the machine, and the dye was automatic, just the cannula put in first, but I am ok and got through it, just MRI Sat week, then I should have a plan for next stage.
I'm glad that this went well and hope that you enjoy your meal. It won't be that long now until your MRI is behind you too. I really find that having the music playing helps to hide a lot of the clunks. Here's hoping that it all goes well.

Oh that’s good , mine is on the Sat, just want all this preperations sorted, then I can concentrate on the main thing, getting this removed from my body

I've now discovered that MRI is next Fri as I have genetic testing on Thursday. I had to ring the department to tell them that I have metal plates in my arm.
The nurse asked me if I had any metal, I had already taken out my earings, my consultant also asked me about metal and also meds, as I am diabetic.
Today I went with my Husband our CVan had some work done on it it’s still under guarantee, so then we had our lunch out, it was nice just getting out and fresh air, today it was sunny.
So is your MRI scan on the 9th Feb mine is the 10th next day.
The CT scan the machine must have been new, the dye goes in automatic, cannula fitted first, and I could see it going around super fast it was in a window in front of my face, and it comes pretty close, first I was a bit scared, and I was more enclosed than I thought.
After my MRI, I hope things move pretty fast, I am very aware of this lump now.
