Vulva cancer

Hi, I was diagnosed with Vulva Cancer last June. I had surgery in July and was told I had a 50/50 chance of reoccurance. I feel like I'm still living in a bubble and just waiting for it to burst. I don't know many people that have the same issues/feelings but would really like to hear other people's stories or experiences.

    Hello Ardnas, 

    I am sorry to hear about your vulval cancer diagnosis. I hope that the surgery in July went well and I can imagine it must be difficult to live with the fear of reoccurrence. It's sadly a fear many of our members have experienced and I hope that you will hear similar stories and experiences. I've had a look on the forum for other members who have had a vulva cancer diagnosis and thought I would mention  - as you can read in her About Me, she was diagnosed with Vulva cancer in October 2021 at the age of 36 and would be a great person for you to connect with. You can read her thread on this page and feel free to respond and share your experience if you feel like doing so.

    Hi

    I'm a couple of years down the road from by diagnosis and 18 months on from the end of my treatment. I was also told that the chance of reoccurrence was high - 60%. Like you this is always in the back of my mind. I also struggle mentally and physically due to the changes in my body since my surgeries but I'm trying to work on this
