Hi everyone!

I’ve just had a mammogram I was called back in to have 2 more last Thursday Then the specialist asked for another to be done After sitting in the cubicle on my own which I hated She was ready to see me She told me their was a lump or foreign body in my right hand breast She performed a very thorough ultrasound and showed it to me Pesky thing didn’t want to play but she found it ! She explained she was hoping it was a cyst and she would try to pop it! 3 times she tried no good She then went on to perform a biopsy She inserted 2 clips She explained it would go off for tests and I will have the results on Wednesday I am still very sore in the area the needles went in I am 64 live in Port Issac Cornwall My head is all over the place My family keep saying stop worrying how can I NOT! I would like to hear from others who have had this happen Thanks everyone Lesley

  • Hello Nutterles

I just wanted to post a reply to wish you well for your appointment tomorrow. Understandably, you may be feeling anxious ahead of seeing the specialist tomorrow but hopefully, whatever news they give you they will be able to offer some reassurance alongside it.

We know that this period of uncertainty and waiting can be really difficult for many people and it sounds like you have a supportive family around you which is positive.

Keep in touch and let us know how you get on tomorrow.

    Best wishes,
