With both of my breast cancers, I noticed a small lump when I was showering. There are many different symptoms of cancer. Although I have never heard of a slightly raised area causing concern, I am not a doctor, so cannot confirm either way. It would certainly be worth making an appointment with your GP to get this checked out.
