Hello all, I had a 'spot' on my face, near my chin that would not heal. It was spongy and no matter what cream i put on it, it refused to go away. I had it for about 3 months before i finally saw the Doctor. The Doctor that I saw put me on the two week cancer pathway and I had the 'spot' removed at the hospital within ten days of that appointment. I cannot fault the NHS as they treated me really quickly. I had a phonecall from the hospital today that said that a consultant wants to speak with me on December 2nd. i asked the person that rang me if they could tell me anything over the phone but she said they couldn't. I am feeling anxious today as i don't know what to expect. The timing is terrible as i am  meant to be out a party on 1st December and I have two choir performances on 2nd December. I could feel my heart sinking as I left work today. Thank you for reading.
