Hello Stacey, 

I can understand why you are worried as these polyps have grown very fast but it's good that they have removed them now and I hope that you will get your biopsy results very soon. You have waited quite a long time for these results already so it might be worth perhaps chasing these and getting in touch with your hospital or GP to find out how long it might take for you to hear back. Our website page on the colonoscopy mentions that when polyps are removed biopsy results can take up to 2 weeks and if you haven't heard anything back after 2 weeks it is suggested you contact your doctor. It may be they are taking a bit longer but it's definitely worth finding out especially as this long wait is understandably a very anxious time. Hi Lucie, thanks for your reply. It's been 6 weeks now and nothing. When I contacted the hospital last week they said 6-8 weeks so I guess I have 2 more weeks to wait. I'm very stressed about it all and keep thinking the worst.

I have a large polyp removed and was initially told 2months for results. it was sending me over the edge and my GP had too srat me on a srring sedative so I could at least get a few hours sleep.
