  • Hi Kela,

I am so sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with uterine cancer and I thought I would share with you our information on stage 1 womb cancer as well as our page on radiotherapy for womb cancer which I hope will answer some of the questions you may have. In particular, this page on having external radiotherapy for womb cancer explains the process in detail.  If you wanted to ask our cancer nurses anything or wanted to talk things through with them, feel free to give them a call on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Poor you, it all seems to have hit you at the same time: your diagnosis, your daughter's diagnosis and your partner sadly passing away with lung cancer. I hope that it will all go smoothly for you and that you will hear from other members of our community who have had a similar diagnosis in the past and that they will be along shortly to share their experiences with you.

Best of luck with your treatment. I hope the radiotherapy will prove to be a success!
