this post is about my dad.
in May he head disgnosed with a 2.5cm Bosniak 4 cyst with septation and enhancing nodules. A contrast ultra sound confirmed the mass has a blood supply. On Thursday he has his entire kidney removed. He js in his 70s, diabetic and has high bp.
he is still in hospital.
my mother is autistic and so I’ll be caring for him.
im overwhelmed and scared. The care in hospital has been awful! I don’t know how to prepare for the next steps.
will he need chemo or radiation?
any advice living with one kidney?
