Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this is allowed or not. My husband John sadly passed away in November 2021 aged 36 from bowel cancer. A friend and I have recently set up a charity for those affected by GI cancers aged 50 and under. Our charity is called GI Cancer Care and is currently only registered in Scotland, but we hope to expand to UK wide as time goes on. We have a private FB group for anyone affected by GI cancers aged 50 and under, and hope to organise days out etc in Scotland once we build up our momentum. We are also on Instagram, LinkedIn and X, and have a website at www.gicancer.org.uk

    Thank you for sharing the information about the charity you have set up with your friend for those affected by GI cancers at a younger age. I am so sorry your husband passed away at such a young age - it must have been such a difficult time for you and we are so sorry for your loss. It's a great initiative though to have set up this charity and to have an extended social media presence already. 

    Best of luck with it and I hope you'll get to organise those days out in Scotland for such an important cause.
