Hi, just introducing myself. I’m a 46 year old lady and I have stage 4 bowel cancer. I’ve had extensive surgery on bowel and liver. Unfortunately the little suckers have appeared in my lung (thank goodness for surveillance scans). Just joining so I can have support along this rollercoaster of cancer.
I’m to begin chemotherapy again to try and control the bits we can’t see (they must be lurking) and to try and shrink what we can see so I can have more surgery.
I cope by talking about it all, being hopeful and honest. I also do cry, fall into a bit of despair at times but with support and hugs I feel safe.
