I’m in a similar position, but I have my appointment at the hospital on Thursday. I’m terrified, and would really like some idea of what to expect. I know I’m likely to have a mammogram and biopsy, but have no idea about time scale for results etc. 

Hi my biopsy results took a week , but on some places it’s 2 weeks . The staff are really kind and empathetic . I wish you both the very best x

Thank you- I will. The lady that called to arrange the appointment said it was possible that they would just examine me and then make another appointment for the investigations. I really hope that isn’t the case- it’s the waiting that’s the worst thing x

Well, as I feared, I was examined, the doctor felt a lump (which I hadn’t been able to feel), and then there weren’t any mammogram or ultrasound appointments available. I’ve just had a call and I’m having them  on Monday. In some ways I’m happy that it’s so soon- in other ways I’m worrying that they have rushed me through because it’s considered particularly urgent.

Oh gosh no way , well least you don’t have to wait too long , it will probly feel forever but hopefully goes fast.
