Lump on face - pea size

I really am struggling- I can’t believe I’m sitting here and writing this. I have found a lump pea size on my face under skin surface. I have been to the GP and he has referred me for a blood test and ultrasound. I am really nervous that it could be the C word. 

he mention it could be a Lipoma but not sure - I’m mentally struggling with this - I have a newborn baby.

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently found a lump and that you're feeling anxious about what this could be. 

    It's good to hear that you've already seen your GP and that they have referred you for some investigations. Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for some answers and reassurance. 

    We know that for many people this period of waiting can be difficult and it's understandable with your new baby that you're feeling a little more anxious. It can sometimes help to chat things through with someone and I wonder if you might find it useful to talk to one of our nurses about your concerns. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and offer any advice and support they can. If you'd like to talk with them they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.
