Hello I am Harry and would like to tell my story

Just wanted to say hello,

i would like to tell my story so it could maybe give people a bit of a lift if anyone is going through what i went through,

3 years ago diagnosed with bowel cancer had to get a bit of my colon removed with the top half of my bladder as it had spread on to it.

the opp i was told was a success two years later a was getting my three month scan and was told i had 4 tumor's on my liver and one in my lung,

as you can imagine in a bit of shock and thought that was the end for me,

talking to the Doctors they said don't think i would get an opp because of the amount but i was adamant i wanted the opp so went to my Chemo sessions which were a bit rough.

But still full of positivity kept going and doing everything i could to keep myself built up even when i didn't have an appetite my wife kept feeding me eating all the good stuff.

After about my forth session the oncologist sent my scans and blood test to a hospital to the liver experts i thought to myself i have a glimmer of hope here.

Next chemo session i had the news i had been waiting for they were willing to operate i was on cloud nine, so about 2 weeks before xmas i had the appointment from the hospital.

Met with a doctor and he was terrific explained the procedure that i was getting 65 percent of my liver removed and it was a big operation i said i am ready any time even a cancelation.

3 days later i got a call could i go in on the 22nd December i said of course.

Operation went well got home before new year, had another small opp because they couldn't remove the the 4 tumors had an oblation procedure 6 weeks later.

So after all the ups and downs got to where i wanted to be , Then yesterday i got the results i wanted the scan read THERE IS NOTHING OF CONCERN my liver bloods and lung are ok.

i know i am at high risk of coming back  but i just wanted to let people know that if you put your mind to it anything can happen apologies if my story is long winded but just felt anyone going through the same thing there is light at the end of the tunnel.
