I had to be admitted to the hospital again with yet another complication post surgery. I have E. coli wound infection .. and have been given antibiotics since Tuesday. I have a stoma bag for the pus/liquid to drain but it doesn’t seem to get any better, as in.. the same amount of pus comes out everyday. I’m slowly losing patience. I have been in hospital for 3 weeks and it feels like I will never recover. Does anyone know how long an E. coli infection usually lasts? Has anyone had this before?
