Hi, I am waiting to go for a biopsy on my nail, as I have a dark line on my thumb nail, plastic surgeon said it will be 4 to 6 weeks before I have this done, due to surgeons being on holiday and another 5 to 6 weeks after that to get a result, seems a long time to wait with a possible cancer, so I am worrying myself silly over it.
I keep thinking my lymph nodes are hurting and thinking the worse, I am becoming a total hypochondriac. Every little niggle or pain, I think the worse. I have had the line for a number of years and it was an article in a newspaper that prompted me to go to my GP, to get some advice, he quickly referred me to a dermatologist.
I had two strokes and an enderactomy last November, so have had a bit of a rough time recently.
