thankyou so much x i have been to my Gp a number of times i've had 2 ultrasounds done on my breast and they cnt see anything so they aren't concerned but iam i have a number of symptoms

Hi there , my advice would be to ask your Gp for referral to a breast specialist . It’s reassuring that the scans have been ok , but I would insist on further investigation. An infection could cause bleeding and discharge , but you need to find the cause. Good luck and keep us posted . 

thankyou xo i am going private to see a specialist as it's been happening on and off and there's never been 1 infection at all x other symptoms are extreme tiredness my prolactin is high and had it redone ans it's higher again by 3600 whatever that means so i'm going to see a private consultant x it's been going on to long now over 3 years is a long time i've had 2 ultrasounds but no mammograms or anything

I’m glad you’re going private, I was loathe to suggest that as some people can’t afford it, but it’s money well spent to put your mind at rest . Let us know how you get on . Good luck !

This sounds like a good idea. Before you go to see the consultant, write down as much of a history of this over the past 3 years as you can. Give details of when you had the ultrasounds and anything else symptom wise, that you feel might be relevant. This should help him/her to look for a solution. You probably haven't been given a mammogram, because these are generally not given to people under 40. The breasts in younger women tend to be denser and don't show up well on mammogram. Have you got an appointment yet?
