I am so sorry to hear about your family member who has bowel cancer as well as other health issues. It's so sad that the latest scans have shown that he is not going to make it and that he has deteriorated so significantly. It must be so hard to watch and I am sure he appreciates all the love and support his loved ones are giving him. 

You've come to the right place though to talk to others who you may never have met but who will understand you better sometimes than even some of your closest friends because they are or have been in the same boat. Cancer is indeed very hard for everyone and I thought I would share with you information for family, friends and caregivers which will give you useful tips to help you support a loved one with cancer but without forgetting - and that is also very important - to take care of yourself.  

I will now let our members who have been affected by cancer in a similar way come and say hello and share their story with you. I hope that you will find the support you need here to help you get through the coming days and weeks. We're thinking of you and your family member during this difficult time.
