Thanks laraj,I am already taking Vencarm which initially helped with the sweats ,but back now . It’s the stiffness of my bones and muscles  which is worse

Thanks Lara ,taking Vencarm which worked at first , but back to mega sweats now . But the bone and muscle stiffness is awful , 

I’m taking clonodine maybe worth asking about lovely 

it’s crazy but we have to keep taking these we will bst through it all of us and come out other side we are strong beautiful women xxo e Lara xxx

Hi there . I’ve been on Letrozole for almost 3 months awful side effects . Weight gain , bone pain , hot flushes, high blood pressure , night sweats, but I’ve found the following helpful but please check with your Consultant first. 
I’ve always taken Magnesium (Lamberts ) Now I’ve upped it to 150mg morning and before bed , this really helps with the bone pain. I take Calcium at lunchtime ( you can’t take it at the same time as Magnesium as the counteract each other I believe) . I also take Biotin for hair loss and a pro biotic for bloating. My Gp put me on Citalopram 10mg for hot flushes when I began the menopause . I’d reduced those to one every three days but since Letrozole take one alternate days . I also do weight bearing training to try and prevent osteoporosis . Also helpful are pet cooling  mats ( yes i know !), B&M about £6 Put it in the fridge then pop into pillow case at night .  Hope this helps! 

Thanks LCR ,yes I take magnesium at night , had terrible restless legs during Chemo and that helped . Also was prescribed Calcium which I take every morning . Some good tips there thanks ,will get a pet cooling mat
