welcome , I completely understand, unless your in the situation people don’t understand, I had breast cancer last year I went for a check had a holiday booked for following week I had a biopsy there was No way I could have gone while waiting I cancelled it . 
for me mine was bad news hopefully you will be ok only 2 in 10 referrals end up with diagnosis the odds are in your favour

the wait is agonising I no , but just remember only 2 out of 10 get a diagnosis of a breast lump , easier said than done to say not to worry I hope you get your appointment quick so you can get back to normal xxx

Hi Jane, it's awful isn't it? I just keep checking and hoping it will dissappear, I know there's nothing I can do till my appointment but it doesn't stop me constantly worrying. Hope your ok? Xx

Yeah go away on Thursday, I wasn't gonna go but I just thought I'm only gonna be sat at home worrying I may aswell be on holiday worrying. I'm at the breast clinic the day after I come back. Xx
