  • Hello Georginaki

I'm sorry to hear that your recent cervical screening results have come back showing that you have low-grade dyskaryosis with HPV. It's understandable that you may be feeling anxious about this news.

We get many women posting here on the forum who have had similar results and initially feel very worried. It's important to remember that these low-grade cell changes are not cancer and that hopefully with treatment things can be resolved quickly.

There's lots of good information about HPV and cell changes available on the Jo's Trust website that you might want to have a look at.  If you'd like to chat things through with one of our nurses for some advice and reassurance you're most welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

I hope that things are resolved for you soon.

    Best wishes,
