Hi I went for my first routine mammogram today and am concerned as after the nurse took the last pic, she said just checking I’ve got this right and I immediately thought she had seen something and was checking she had a clear enough pic. She also said it’s very common to be recalled after first mammogram as they have no base line for me which I think is odd as surely they don’t recall everyone just if they’re concerned. And I’ve to wait ten weeks for results !

    Sounds like they are covering for delays with 10 week wait X If she was really concerned it would be a quicker referal. (I had a large cyst found on mamogram and had ultrasound same day) they found quite a few that explained my pains ) Its hard not to read too much into anything thats said but from experience too people can read things in totally different ways so Id be happy to be recalled for a second look if they thought needed. X Remember our normal Cysts can come and go in a monthly cycle so if she thought she saw something one month chances are its gone the next X  But if you notice any changes within the 10 weeks dont hesitate to call them back XXX
