Did you have full lymph node removal or only sentil node biopsy ? 

Only sentinel node, I have been massaging but it is early days I will keep doing it. Thanks for taking the time to reply and I hope you are well now .

Maybe try co codamol they maybe a bit stronger for you for a few days . I had lunpectomy and sentil node 2 weeks later had full node clearance removing 30 nodes . 
on Thursday I had my first annual check all clear so happy xx

A very warm welcome to our forum. I am sorry to hear that you are still in pain following your surgery. It is still very early days. Continue with your exercises. If Paracetamol and Ibuprofen aren't touching it, why not phone your breast care nurse and ask for her advice? It will improve, but it takes time.

Hello thanks for replying, I am taking paracetamol regularly but I cant take ibuprofen as I have only just stopped the blood thinning injections. I have spoken to the breast care nurse and she also said early days and keep doing the exercises so I will just see how it goes.

it definitely eases I’m o d year on still get the odd twinge , it’s a long process but you soon forget it all I promise xx
