Hello, I had a CT scan of my neck, abdomen and pelvis on the 13th April 2023

I am not next due to see the Consultant Haemotologist until the 13th July 2023.

Will it be then that I get the results from the scan does anyone know?

I'm sorry you've been waiting a while to get your CT scan results Lazarusblackstar.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will be along soon to share their experiences and advice but if you'd like to discuss this with one of our cancer nurses, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

Fingers crossed all goes well next month.

Thank you Steph, by coincidence I was called in to the surgery for a GP appointment this mornig about being put on Warfarin anticoagulant tablets for DVT blood clot prevention and the GP told me that no cancer was found.

I was of course relieved to be told this now but upon reflection I wish they had told me much sooner than this.

How difficult would it be for the NHS to send a text message to put the patient's mind at rest?
