I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis and that the MRI showed another area of concern. I know that we have had many women post here on the forum previously who have had similar experiences. It's great to hear that from all the tests you've had to date that your lymph nodes aren't giving any cause for concern. Try to keep hold of that positive piece of news and focus on that rather than the "what ifs" that naturally creep into our minds before surgery. 

We know that for many people this period of waiting and uncertainty can be difficult and it's natural that you will be feeling anxious and wonder about those "what if" scenarios. Often it can help to talk things through with someone and I wonder if you might find it helpful to chat with one of our nurses. I'm sure they would be happy to offer any advice and support they can ahead of your surgery. If you'd like to chat with them they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. Alternatively, give your breast care nurse a call and talk things through with them.
