Hello, I’m Leah. I wanted to share my experience as I know it might help someone else who is worried about the same thing. About a month ago, I noticed what looked like a ‘dent’ or ‘dimple’ in my right breast. I could only see it in certain light with my arm raised up, but it was definitely there. I showed my husband and he agreed it looked odd. Luckily I had an appointment booked with my doctor about another issue. I mentioned it while there and he was like “oh yeah that definitely needs looking at”. I waited about 3 weeks for an appointment at the breast clinic. The doctor there wasn’t too worried due to my age (29) but she could see the dimple, so she circled it with pen and I went straight for an ultrasound. Everything came back fine and all clear! 

I think the most likely reason is that I’ve lost some weight and my boobs have dropped. I have large breasts (FF cup) so the weight of them is pulling some of the skin down and inward I think. 

I wanted to share this as I know as much as I tried to keep my mind off it, it is worrying waiting for an appointment. My advice is get to the doctor as soon as you can and ask for an appointment at the breast clinic if you’re in any doubt. Chances are it’s nothing, but best to check!
