Vocal cord biopsies confused

Hi recovering from breast cancer treatment at the moment, but had to have operation for biopsies done on both vocal cords at the hospital on 30th may, my doctor mistakenly thought she was doing right thing looking at results at gp surgery but pathology’s report says left vocal cord- hyperkeritsis and right vocal cord- specimen jar empty………..

I don’t understand and doctor couldn’t wait to get me out the room and said I need to speak to hospital. Can someone please help am so confused and worried

    I can understand this causing some concern and confusion, and it's a shame you weren't able to get more help from the doctor about this.

    I'm not sure if you have an appointment in place to discuss this with the hospital - if so, I hope it's not too long to wait for this. If not, give the hospital a call, as advised by your doctor.

    If you struggle to reach anyone, you can always call your doctor again for guidance.

    I hope you're able to find out more soon about this.
