Hi to all,

i was diagnosed with kidney cancer 2 weeks ago and feel utterly deflated. Totally lost the drive to do anything.

i have joined to try and understand how this illness affects us and how people come to terms with it.

my story is long and quite boring, but because I have more than my share of issues, there is no safe way to treat this, so a monitor and wait approach is pretty much all that can be done.

i have been battling other issues for 16 years now, and at 56, I don't really want to die yet, but don't know how to deal with this.
