Tongue cancer - treatment done but side effects upsetting

Hi am new here

I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in February 23. I have just finished my treatment which was 6 weeks of radiotherapy every day for 5 days and 2 sessions of Chemotherapy.  

I thought I would be feeling great now treatment finished but I don't all the side effects like producing to much mucus is getting me down. I also had a tube fitted which helped.

When will I start to feel OK again .  Sorry but I finding it all a bit much. 

Anyone gone through same thing

    I'm sure some of our members who have been on this journey will share their experiences and advice with you soon but if you'd like to talk things through with one of our cancer nurses, you can do so on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday (except bank holidays) between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very supportive and will do all they can to help.

    I'm glad the tube that has been fitted is helping and I hope it won't be long before you turn a corner and things start to get better for you.
