Awaiting CT results

I had a colnoscopy done a couple of weeks ago due to blood in my poo, that came back ok but they've done a biopsy and I'm awaiting the results of that... I had a ct scan done last week and I'm waiting for my doctor to ring me tomorrow with the results. Does the doctor tell you if it's anything serious over the phone or do they ask you to go in and see them? I'm just worrying constantly. I'll be glad when I find out what's wrong with me.

    I am sorry to hear about your symptoms. You have done the right thing by getting these checked out. Waiting for results is always an anxious time.

    Most doctors prefer to give all results face-to-face. However, with pressure of work, this is not always possible, in some areas and all results are given via phone call.

    I hope that your doctor can set your mind to rest, when you speak to her/him tomorrow.
