Dad diagnosed with lung cancer in lymph glands - heartbroken

My lovely dad has been diagnosed with lung cancer 2 days ago. I'm lost and completely broken.

The cancer is also in his lymph glands - he doesn't drink or smoke so why has this happened to him.

I can't accept or take it all in, my life has been completely shattered, I can't stop crying, not eating L,hardly sleeping and want to wake up to find this has all been a bad dream. I'm not ready nor can think about my beautiful dad not being here. He has to go to the hospital on Tuesday where they will carry out an endoscopy and have an mdt to discuss treatment, I am so angry, so hurt and completely broken, have never felt a pain like this in my life. I adore my dad

    Corina I am so sorry to hear about your dad and you have every right to feel all of those things from sadness to anger ,you will be in complete shock ,all I can say really is to take each day as it comes ,grab a little rest anytime you can so that you can be there for your dad and try to eat a little to keep your energy up ,maybe once you find out the tratment plan you will feel a little better ,I want to send my very best wishes to you and your dad ,we are always here to offer you support .
