I had no family history I had bad luck 

just to let you no only 2 in 10 who go to the breast clinic get a diagnosis best to get it checked to settle your mind

Hello 

My mammogram appointment is on the 14/03/23 , I'm so worried and can't help thinking the worst, the 2cm hard lump is on the left breast lower quadrant, it's slightly moves and like my Dr says feels attached, I have discomfort in my back and under my ribs on the left side,   I'm not sure if I'm imagining these symptoms though.

just remember you are going to get checked to rule it out not all breast lumps are cancer tgere are many other things is women are complicated have a good look on posts here lots get good results too

Hi Lor,

Sorry to hear you're so worried. I recently had a 12-day wait for results from tests I had at a breast clinic. In those 12 days, I had every ache and pain under the sun and splitting headaches. I convinced myself they were sinister but now I know what I'm dealing with, they have all disappeared. Stress can cause all manner of niggling aches. I wish you all the best with your appointment.

Hello , so yes had my appointment had mammogram and ultrasound, she was a little concerned at first and said the lump is round but also jagged and had white specs but it could be protein they drained it which hurt, and said no need to test as it's a cyst, so I was very much relieved, but this past week  unfortunately my left breast became very uncomfortable it was hard, slightly reddish and I can feel a lump still inside, rang 111 and out of hrs Dr examined me & said I had mastitis ( I'm 46 in menapause) and prescribed antibiotics and told to make a gp appointment next week.

Since I noticed the original lump I've also been experiencing pain in the back of my ribs, my side  and pain in the upper chest (left side same as lump) , so I really don't know what's going on with me, but I'm feeling uncomfortable most days .
